COVE Teen Spring 2014 Showcase

This season's teens created a drama inspired by Tyler Perry's For Colored Girls (which was based on Ntzoake Shange's "choreopoem" For Color Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf).

Drama Short written, produced and directed by COVE Teens who participated in the September '13 - April '14 Media Arts & Literacy after school program.

Launching the first of the 25th Anniverary events, The COVE Teen Spring 2014 Showcase screened it's two short films at The Concourse House.  The event included a Martial Arts demonstration by the Saturday Martial Arts students, a Q&A with the creators of the Drama and Comedy shorts, and a singing performance. The Showcase was followed by award presentations and an honorary to the founding members of The COVE, Lyn Pyle  (Board Chair) and Leo Lewkowitz (Board).
